Recital Tips
- Performance is so imprtant in developing a confident amazing dancer and person. The opportunity to perform is so beneficial and should never be missed.
- Remember Dress rehearsal order is diffrent that recital order.
- Dress rehersal order, recital program and invitation will be sent by email 3 weeks before the recital so watch your email.
- Curtain call time is 30 minutes before the show starts. This is when dancer needs to be in the waiting room behind the stage dressed and ready to perform. They must check in with the teacher here.
- If you have little ones that are changing into diffrent costumes you must come help them with this.
- girl dancers are encouraged to wear a tan leotard with clear straps under their costume for fast changes, body support and no itchy costumes.
- Each dancers family pays one recital fee wich allowes all family and friends to come watch the recital and support the dancers with no admission fees.
- No food or drink in the auditorium please.
- The first row of seats is reserved for parents to take pictures and little videos of their dancers. Parents please move quickly to your seats between dances.
- Please have recital etiquette, cheer for all the dancers and do not leave in the middle of a performance.
Dress Rehearsal Tips
- Dress rehearsal is crazy so the recital can be smooth and its ok.
- Please be on time! Your dancer has only 15 minutes to run formations and practice on stage.
- The dress rehearsal time is very important for your dancer to feel confident and know what to expect at the recital. It is also a time to make sure everyone is wearing the correct attire in the correct way. Please make sure to come.
- You must wear the costume hair and make up to the dress rehearsal. It is a great time for everyone to practice and it is also fun for the dancer.
